I was at family video when I came across nurse jackie, I remember reading BFC writings about the show so i rented disc one. I thought it souned ok so I went home and watched it. After the first 4 episodes I was wanting more. So I went back to family vide and rented the rest of the first season watche them all last night. What a awesome show I highly recomend it, she is a drug addicted nurse who gets even with the evil, mean, rude, rotten people and helps out the needy. I really recomend this series its not too graphic but really enjoyable. It was weird for me seeing Carmella Soprano play a diffrent role but again I really enjoyed itcoming from the website "Nurse Jackie Peyton is far from ordinary. As an ER nurse, she navigates the rough waters of a crumbling healthcare system, doing everything she can to provide her patients with the best care possible. Whether she’s lighting into a smug doctor for failing to heed her advice, or stealing a fat money clip from a man who stabbed a prostitute and giving it to a pregnant widow, or forging the organ donor card of a man who just died, Jackie Peyton is compelled to make sense of the chaos and to level the playing field whenever she can. Right or wrong, it’s Jackie’s brand of justice made all the more manageable by a daily diet of prescription pain medication."

Ok, I watched the first episode, and I like the Actress who lays Jackie, but tell me, is this like a rip off of House? And does every one of these shows need a sympathetic gay guy as a best friend?

I am not getting how she is having the affair with Eddie, unless it is strictly for the drugs.Everybody know every-bodies business, except that nobody knows the head nurse is married or has kids?Fun show though, I am up to episode 5.

Ok, when the head nurse tasers herself in the elevator, I gotta admit, I laughed really hard. Keep your finger off the trigger woman!

So she did three vials of Morphine Sulfate, by mouth, that seems like quite a bit. Whats going to happen? With Eddy, and Her Husband? Sheesh, I am stuck on a soap opera!

YEah, the foley, not deflated, kinda makes my testicles shrivel up also.Good series, well written, I just don't understand why she is doing what she is doing. I can't all be the drugs making her make bad choices.

Dexter is the man. Nurse Jackie is a good person, trapped by her own bad decisions. As we all are in one way or another.

Dexter is brilliant, I love that show. A blood splatter expert/ serial killer how awesome. I only ever watched the first season of True Blood but I really enjoyed it. Easter I will be with my family and borrow the rest of trueblood from my brother who owns all seasons of True blood. I own the first 3 seaons of dexter and all seasons of the Sopranos. I really miss the sopranos, I am hoping for a movie or something to come out.

But, but, then we would know whether Tony got whacked, or not.As far as Dexter, have you read the books? The books' story deviates from the TV story almost instantly, in many ways I like better. I guess though, the idea of a screaming potato was a bit too much for TV.
