Obviously. Couldn't you see the blatant racism in his stating that it was Black's who did the attacking? What possible need is there for anyone to know the race of the people assaulting the stupid White people?

Here I live less than 20 minutes with all the traffic lights and I did not hear about it until 2 weeks later. My daughter was actually looking at going to Norfolk State College which is less than a mile from there. But I guess that I am a racist because I told her not to go there... and yes I feared for her safety.

If they are targeting people because of their color there, you are wise to use that in making a decision.

O'Reilly makes a standard appeal to ignorance, presenting a question as an answer: "What would happen if white people did this to black people? We all know what would happen" Do we? Has there been a case of a mob of whites attacking a black man and black woman in a car? Additionally, in the original piece, the writer addresses the issue of why the report didn't appear earlier. Since it was two of their own employees, they weren't sure they could present an objective story. I feel bad for the victims. I hope for justice for the perps. But a "cover-up" is a bridge too far at this point.

So nobody else picks up that story? We are seeing stories of this stuff going on in Milwaukee, Minneapolis and all are saying these are predominantly AA crowds. Also to think that if this was white on black it wouldn't be bigger is preposterous. My biggest problem with all of this nonsense is that everything is continually labeled as racial.

They have to make it look like your guilty, because the race card has been revoked. I can't believe how badly race relations have suffered in the past 3 1/2 years. It is like there was a plan for it or something.

1. There are hundreds of cases of assault of this level every day in the US. The national media can only run so many of them.
2. To assume it would gain more attention if it were white on black is just that, an assumption. Read into it any way you want, but until you can provide actual comparitive events and subsequent news coverage, it's nothing more than guesswork.
3. Name 10 missing persons stories that gained national attention in the last 10 years. I'll guarantee you at least 9 will have been white children, usually white girls. Of the thousands of kids who go missing every year, why do pretty white females get the most/only coverage?

I'll agree that people are too quick to assume that race was a factor in an event, simply because people of different races were involved. That doesn't mean that racism doesn't exist and that race isn't actually a factor in some of these cases.
