How would he balance his media outlet against his role on the board ? Would his seat on the board skew the way he reports district matters ?

Every place that reports news has an editorial slant of some sort, there is no law stating that there can't be. I don't see it as any kind of disqualifier at all.

I would gather not, other than executive sessions. Everything else is a matter of public record. And to be honest, having an outlet with all of the Dope would be appreciated by at least me.

Thats unacceptable. We have new board members who are eager to raise taxes an obscene amount, we need to work to get rid of these people. Can't do that without info. Someone will know cell phone numbers.

True. The only yard signs I see are for Moore, and there are a lot of them!

This is for 3 seats right? I don't know Lax and from everything I have heard Lattin has done a very good job. I do know Randy Reid and Scott Moore and I think they would both do a very good job. Bill you could probably reach Scott Moore at his office on Lake St. if you were interested in talking to him. Randy also should be pretty easy to read as I am pretty sure he reads this board.

Ted Lax is a parliamentarian. He knows the rules of meetings, he also knows the minutia of what he is dealing with. He also does not BS. I can easily get behind Lax.

Lattin is smart and fiscally capable. She is about fiscal responsibility. I can't ask for more than that. I can equally as easily get behind her campaign.

PiedPiper, if you have any numbers for me, I would be happy to use them.

I don't think the two are not mutually exclusive. WETM is a tiny broadcaster, in an even tinier market. They do what they can with what they have, which is basically fresh out of broadcast school, or a communication major.

I don't know of any instance where he was deliberately dishonest, do you?

I know Moore and Lattin both, they have my vote without question. Moore lives on Rambler Road in West Elmira. I have been involved in youth sports groups with him over the years and he did a great job. Lattin is on the money in her role on the board now but she is one of the few that support a finacial reshaping of the budget. I have spoken to her a few times about district issues and she is a very straight talker, right to the point with no bs or politically correct answers. Just my 2 cents......
