All explained in a chart:Posted ImageI am sure that we will hear from Obamaphiles that all of this is George W. Bush’s fault. I am equally sure that if the previous president were a Democrat, the current president were a Republican, and all other things remained equal, real-life Obamaphiles would be entirely willing to blame the hypothetical incumbent Republican president for the agonizingly slow economic recovery.

The start of the recession is clearly Bush's fault. The onging problems are due to the Republican's failure to reach across the aisle.I should apply for a job on the Obama 2012 re-election campaign, I think I have this down pat.

It's easy when one does not let facts sway them. Or ideologies are more important than truth.

my only comment would be that the world is dramatically different today then it was in the early 90's while our technology has grown our ability to keep pace with it has not. It is sum what similar to the civil war. Technology had increase but out tactics in war had not so while we had more accurate weapons or fighting style had not changed resulting in a larger number of soldiers killed. Our attack on the economy is much the same. we have far better ways to combat them but out understanding and fighting techniques are the same from 30 years ago. what worked in the past will not work today.

Your right, and what Obama is doing is driving us closer and closer to the cliff. We need less government investment and less governmental involvement in business. Hell we nationalized multiple swaths of our economy. You will not get investment when the dictator is going to come in and take your business away, it just doesn't work. We need obama gone, and a fiscal conservative in who will take a machete to the EPA and any other agency who puts up even a single roadblock to business. I am good with you if you are for Obama for his social stance (Though that just means you haven't been paying attention), social issues are nice to debate over a lemonade, but have no bearing on your children's future. The economy though, there is no justification to allow him to harm it any further. Your kids will never forgive you for allowing that to happen. Unless you are an advocate for socialsim, which, in this country, amazingly, you are well within your rights. Again, you aren't paying attention, but smart people do dumb things all the time, at least, I do. :rimshot:

my belief is that as each party stands right now neither one has a solution that will solve the problems of today as both are severely entrenched in the policies of the past and neither appears to has a forward thinking solution to the problems of today.
