State Street was the original route of the Chemung Canal, then became its own commercial center. It's pretty much buried under the CC Parkway, but some parts remain - though they are impossible to get to. If the building below to be stunning in its brickwork. Partially restored, I can't tell if there's an active business in there. I remember those buildings. I think there used to be a photo studio in one and some foreign car place in the larger dpot. Now I think the last time I went over there was 15 years ago...Posted ImageAmazing brickwork!
