Mote Marine Laboratory presents Sanctuary Reef and Sea Monsters

June 22-September 3

Experience sea life the size of a shrimp as you step inside a vibrant coral reef cove just like the ones in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Explore the mysterious and intriguing features of the monsters of the deep: venom, ultra vision, jaws, and even glow in the dark flesh. Visit throughout the summer for interactive videoconferences with Mote Marine Laboratory staff. This exhibit is organized and managed by the Mote Marine Laboratory and generously sponsored by the Triad Foundation.

Congratulations to Keyshaun! Nothing like being the smartest boy in the room.

You don't really want to touch tarantulas, you know, they made the original 'itching powder' from their hair. If you want to eat them, the best thing is to get them on a stick and drop them onto the fire, that way the hair burns off and they puff up like popcorn.
