Work is under way to convert the site of a former bar at Davis and Grant streets in Elmira into a museum that will honor Chemung County’s Vietnam veterans and tell their story for generations to come.

Their story is an interesting one, and it will be pretty much like our current Soldiers and Marines stories. I have faith in the VietNam vets I know to take the young guys under their wings.
