It is hard for NY gas prices to fall when they keep tacking on new Gas taxes. I understand they say it is big, I just dont understand why?

“MR. CLEAN:” “It’s difficult to believe the levels of incompetence coming out of New York Governor Eliot Spitzer’s office in his first year and to cap things off we now learn the computers in his office have been scrubbed free of possibly incriminating email files surrounding the dirty tricks campaign against State Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno. Can you imagine the howls coming from the mostly left-leaning New York media if a Republican did this? Yes, so can I.”

Boggles the mind, doesn’t it? “Do as I say, not as I do!”

The one difference between Liberals and non-liberals is that Liberals always know what is best for someone, else.

They can’t even run their own lives, what makes them think they can run mine?

I worked the Community Kitchen today. Food was GREAT! I mean really great! The beef came from Renkos and was so tender we could hardly slice it. Mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, broccoli, 3 bean salad, ambrosia, home made biscuits, iced cupcake with ice cream for dessert.

Served some 150 people. I was amazed at the food that the ‘guest eaters’ threw away! Disgusted, actually. I’ll work to help but I’ll be damned if I’ll donate money for people who waste that amount of food!

Only in America, where our poorest of the poor live better than 99% of the rest of the worlds population.

AND have the kahunas to complain when it isn’t as good as they think they deserve!

Americans as SO Spoiled! They should take a trip to some of the many areass in this world where people are so poor they don’t even have access to drinking water without walking for miles.

Some Americans couldn’t survive under those conditions. Maybe that is a good thing!

I gather a sense of entitlement is handed out in welfare offices also, as I have yet to meet a person who wasn’t living on my money, who felt so utterly sure that they deserved to root around in my pocket.

4th and 5th generation welfare recipients feel it is owed them, Bill. They don’t know any other way of living. And it is OUR fault because we have encouraged this feeling of entitlement that they’ve come to embrace!

    SHAME ON US!

I didn’t vote for him either, and in fact, I have yet to run into anyone who admits to voting for him. Weird?

I hate to admit this Bill but (my?) Union, or should I say (The) Union that I am mandated by Law to pay dues to , whether I want to belong or not , supported Spitzer against the will of the majority of its 26,000 members. That isn’t saying that those who pay these dues voted for him but it goes to show you that the laws of this land aren’t always fair to all. I can only speak for myself , but I was truly Piss_d when this word came out and made it known to anyone who would listen that I was against this decision. So , I to , would like to know where the voters who put this guy in office are . I honestly believe that voters in the Upstate region have become so apathetic that they aren’t voting and the City is electing these people. For many years I have supported the idea of seperation of the City from the rest of the State. Even though we are told over and over again that its a ‘good thing’ and we would lose Millions of dollars if it happened, I can’t help but believe we would be better off without New York City and its Liberal bent. But , with that said I know it aint gonna happen so I will keep looking for that elusive voter who voted for Eliot Spitzer. Could it be that there are a lot of ‘liars’ out there ? Nah, that wouldn’t happen…..

Well, we ought stop wondering why democratic politicians work so hard to make union *leaders* happy, no? They are parasites from the same DNA, and baiscally the same job, so they for sure, take care of each other.

I can’t fathom why any worker would vote for anyone other than republicans?

Me neither. But the sad part of all this is that the union gets my money whether I support the candidate or not. All I get is the opportunity for a refund of the portion of my dues money that is used for Political purposes. And the crooks who run the Union get to figure out how much that is. Sigh……………
