The color change is something I am playing with, it is not for me, per se, though it works out that way most times. What it does is highlight the article author (The person who made the initial post that we are all commenting on). I believe in the future, when more people are posting their own articles, it will help the conversation a bit.
I am surprised that no one mentioned the total comment count next to their name yet, that one took a bit of time.

Thanks for changing the yellow, Bill. It really caused me a problem. The teal is much better.
And thanks for taking down the ‘top posters’ count, too. I was getting embarrassed!
Now, if you would fix it so all one had to do was click on the poster’s name and see all that poster had written, that would be nice.
On to the law suit. What is behind the illegal aliens license issue? What is the real purpose, do you think?

You are screwed on the Top Commentator sidebar, it resets every month, and something tells me you are going to be pretty high again this month. (Cough, cough).
I ought to be able to add that functionality, let me see if I can get into the internals of MYSQL databases, WP post loops and PHP server side includes. Give me a couple of days.
The real issue? It is a melange of more democrat voters, pandering do-goodery, an increase of the social services rolls, a smattering of northern union paranoia, and the desire for cheap, disposable labor.
It won’t be good for us, but will be good for spitzers friends, and in the end, it is all about helping ones friends, no?
