TODD ZYWICKI LOOKS AT taxes and the increase in families going bankrupt: “[Since 1973] taxes increase in the example by $13,086. To put this in perspective, the increase in tax obligations is over three times as large as the increase in the mortgage (the supposed driver of the ‘two income trap’) and about double the increase in the combined obligations of mortgage and automobile payments. . . . Financial Burden On Strike Workers

Dresser Rand Workers Say Strike Will Impact Lifestyle

I mean, I understand that their union will mouth all the right things to them, but corporate jets, union boss vacations to the islands and union boss pension plans cost money, those workers ought to get their heads straight.

Dresser Rand Keeps Production Lines Moving Despite Strike, Still No New Negotiations

Elmira Family Criticizes the District Attorney

The family of a young girl murdered more than 40 years ago feels they’re being used as a political tool for the upcoming race for Chemung County District Attorney.

Let me understand, Trice has on his plate the killing of a biker, with witnesses, but doesn’t want to really do anything about that, but he is all hot and bothered to dig up a 40 year old ‘cold case’?  What alternate reality world are we living in?
